WHY PUBLISH A ROADMAP
No fabricated capabilities.
Our comparison pages mark several capabilities partial or none for UpDossier. This page is the other half of that honesty: what we’re building to close those gaps, and in what order.
The standing rule
If a capability isn’t live, it’s labeled in build or on the roadmap here and marked honestly in every comparison table — never dressed up as shipped. Founding firms shape the order in which the in-build items land.

The full substrate — the zero-knowledge plane, the advice boundary, Firm Brain, sealed firm memory, privileged capture, the Deposition Workbench, and the resale SKUs — is in production today.
Zero-knowledge plane
The cloud stores ciphertext and holds no key. Privileged data and inference outputs are structurally unreadable to the vendor.
BYOK + edge inference
Privilege-bearing surfaces run inference under the firm’s own key — at the edge, failing closed.
UPL two-lane guard
Every output is classified information-vs-advice, enforced, and logged before it leaves the system.
Firm Brain
Citation-grounded answers on the firm’s own corpus, with zero-knowledge ingest — only ciphertext leaves your network.
Sealed firm memory
A firm-wide memory of decisions, preferences, and client posture that persists across threads — stored as ciphertext under your key, scoped and ethical-wall-aware, with a signed, hash-chained receipt on every write, recall, and forget.
Privileged client-matter capture
Intake whose answers are sealed at the edge, land as client/matter-tagged sealed memories with a signed receipt, and produce a controlled-discovery worklist — no cleartext in the cloud.
Deposition Workbench
The capture engine at adversarial temperature: prep outlines from sealed memory, live branching examination with real-time consistency flags, and post-depo synthesis — all with chain-of-custody receipts on the zero-knowledge work-product plane.

Today Contract Review is optimized for playbook + client-service delivery. Next: a tabular surface for reviewing hundreds of documents at once — the bulk-diligence job where the agentic workstations currently lead.
Agentic orchestration
Today we ship per-SKU workflow engines, not a general legal agent OS. Next: goal-driven, multi-step matter workflows that chain those engines — under the same lane guard and zero-knowledge plane.
ON THE ROADMAP
Further out — and named honestly.
Office-native drafting and formal certifications are on the roadmap, not shipped. We label them that way everywhere they appear.
Office-native drafting (Word & Outlook)
We have no native Office add-ins today. On the roadmap: in-Word and in-Outlook drafting that keeps the advice boundary and BYOK model intact inside the document.
Formal security certifications
SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR are on the certification track. We say so plainly rather than implying they already exist — see Security for the current state.
